Iumi Lights

IUMI has its workshop in the heart of Berlin and specialises in birch wood pendant lights. The brand's aim is to create lighting that creates a warm and gentle environment. IUMI lights are therefore ideally suited to create a cosy atmosphere at home. The lights are also perfectly suited for interior design projects involving restaurants, bars and officespaces for example.

The lights are made from sustainably grown (FSC certified) birch plywood. The wood is laser cut and hand finished to achieve a perfect fit and the best possible finish. The coloured and white versions of IUMI lights are hand painted in various steps with naturally pigmented colours. 

The paint is the eco friendliest available in the market and is water-repellent.

IUMI lights are ideally suited for energy saving light bulbs as the light reflects off the wood, creating a warm natural effect. With the coloured lamp shades, the light adopts some of the colour which delicately tints the lighting. 

IUMI's HEKTOR lampshades have a sophisticated shape which makes the light bulb effectively disappear.

The TEIA pendant light has been created as a dining table spotlight for rooms with high ceilings. The light focuses the light on the table while creating a warm ambient environment. The design of TEIA suits many different kinds of interior styles.

The AION pendant light was designed for hanging above sideboards or dining tables. It combines volume with delicate construction and creates a warm and ambient environment. The light can be easily combined with various interior styles.
